GTX 285 OC version coming soon

Inno3D has announced its own GTX 295 and GTX 285 cards. Both cards will be based on Nvidia's reference design and they will work at reference clocks.

The GTX 295 works at 576MHz for both cores, and comes with a total of 1,792MB of memory, 896MB per GPU. The memory is clocked at 2,000MHz and the card has an 896-bit memory interface (448-bit x2). It comes with 480 stream processors (240 per GPU) with a shader clock set at 1,242MHz.

The GTX 285 works at 648MHz for the GPU, has 1,024MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 2,484MHz and paired up with a 512-bit memory interface. The GTX 285 has 240 stream processors clocked at 1,476MHz.

Both cards feature DirectX 10 support and Nvidia's SLI (quad SLI for GTX 295), PhysX and CUDA. Inno3D decided to bundle these cards with Netdevil's Warmonger game, which should show the full potential of Nvidia's PhysX.

Inno3D is also going to have an overclocked version of the GTX 285 card, and according to our info it will work at 700MHz for the core and 2,560MHz for the memory. We heard the phrase "wrapped in gold" and we suspect that it has something to do with a sticker on this card. In any case, 700MHz for the core sounds like a decent overclock, and we hope that we will get more info soon.
