HP unveiled a rather interesting product at the CES 2026 show, scooping up the CES Innovation Awards Honoree award, the HP EliteBoard G1a. Although we have seen PCs squeezed inside a keyboard, Raspberry Pi keyboard, and with the recent popularity of mini PCs, we haven’t seen anyone deliver such a solid product as the EliteBoard G1a with Ryzen AI 300 APU.
While the exact specifications are yet to be finalized, we have been told there will be several SKUs, depending on the actual Ryzen AI 300 series SKU, amount of memory and storage, HP’s EliteBoard gives you a slim keyboard that is pretty much everything you need for an office PC. Of course, you’ll need a monitor, but there are plenty of USB-powered portable monitors, so it is also a portable device.

With AMD Ryzen AI 300 APU, the HP EliteBoard G1a gets 50 TOPS NPU, Radeon 800M series graphics, and HP has apparently include a 32W internal battery, which will allow you to move it from one workspace to other without shutting down. Some SKUs will even have a fingerprint reader, there is a Copilot+ button so it will obviously run on Windows 11. It even comes with integrated microphones and speakers, so it is a perfect office PC.

HP certainly draw a lot of attention with this one and we are certainly looking forward to checking it out.
