be quiet! has introduced its new Dark Rock Pro 6 and Dark Rock 6 air coolers, updating its high-end lineup with improved and quieter performance, and updated support for modern systems.
The Dark Rock Pro 6 targets high-performance builds with an optimized heatsink design, seven 6mm heat pipes, and two excellent Silent Wings PWM fans (135 mm and 120 mm). It promises to deliver strong cooling for overclocked CPUs while maintaining low noise levels. It also introduces a hardware switch to toggle between performance mode and a semi-passive mode, with the latter one stopping the fans at low loads. be quiet! also improved both installation and compatibility with larger RAM and VRM setups.
The Dark Rock 6 brings a more compact design while retaining many of the same features, including an optimized heatsink, six heat pipes, and a single 135 mm Silent Wings fan. It also supports the same performance and quiet modes. It comes with an asymmetrical design and cut-outs that should improve clearance in tighter builds.
Both models feature a refined design with a ceramic-particle black coating, nickel-plated base for liquid metal compatibility, and magnetic top covers. Of course, both promise to live up to the name of the company, focusing on near-silent operation.
“With Dark Rock Pro 6 and Dark Rock 6, we have taken our high-end air cooling portfolio to the next level,” says Aaron Licht, CEO of be quiet! “With improved performance and a new level of quietness through its optional semi-passive mode, the Dark Rock 6 series delivers the cooling power and elegance users expect from be quiet!, whether they are building a heavily overclocked workstation or a compact high-end gaming system.”
The Dark Rock Pro 6 and Dark Rock 6 will be available from May 19, 2026, priced at €109.90 / $129.90 / £79.99 and €89.90 / $109.90 / £64.99, respectively.
