Although we got an official release date for Playstation 4 platform, Kojima Productions has now confirmed that Death Stranding game will be coming to PC, in summer 2020.
Back in May, Kojima Productions finally gave an official launch date for its highly anticipated game, Death Stranding, and it will be coming to the Playstation 4 on November 8th, 2019.
While there were rumors that the game could come to other platforms, there was always a doubt, as Hideo Kojima has been known for its dedication to Sony.
Kojima Productions has released a short tweet saying that the game will indeed launch on PC, but in “early summer of 2020”. This means that the game will be exclusive to Playstation 4 for a few months, giving the team enough time to tweak it for a PC, possibly giving it unlocked framerate, 4K resolution support, and other features that would not be possible on the Playstation 4 platform.
As you already probably know, Death Stranding is based on the Decima Engine, and it will be interesting how well it will work on the PC.
