GMKtec launches new NucBox G11 mini PC with Ryzen Embedded chip for $169

MKtec has introduced the NucBox G11, a compact mini PC built around AMD’s Ryzen Embedded platform, targeting home computing, networking setups, and entry-level edge AI workloads.

The NucBox G11 is powered by a Ryzen Embedded R2514 processor with four cores and eight threads, paired with Radeon Vega 8 graphics, offering solid performance for office tasks, media playback, and light GPU workloads. It supports up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory and includes dual M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 slots with up to 16 TB of total storage, positioning it for local servers, NAS-like setups, and data-heavy applications.

As far as connectivity goes, it comes with dual 2.5GbE LAN ports for networking and virtualization use cases, alongside Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. The system also supports triple 4K display output via HDMI and USB-C, and includes multiple USB 3.2 ports.

Despite its small footprint, the G11 features a cooling system with a copper heat pipe and turbine fan designed to maintain stable performance under sustained workloads. GMKtec positions the device for a range of scenarios, including edge AI inference, smart retail, streaming, and business deployments.

The NucBox G11 starts at $169 for the barebone configuration, with higher-tier variants offering pre-installed memory and storage at increased price points.
