Honor has launched its Magic V6 foldable in the UK, complete with AI fairy dust and a £1,500 price tag.
The company announced the Magic V6 in London on 2 July 2026 and claims the device blends ultra-slim design, long battery life and flagship durability.
Honor says the Magic V6 “redefines the foldable experience” with intelligent AI agents and large-screen multitasking.
Honor UK chief executive Roger Li said: “The industry needs the courage to evolve. Foldable users should never have to compromise between design, reliability, and performance… we focused on what truly matters: a natural form factor, trusted durability, and seamless cross-ecosystem productivity. HONOR Magic V6 reflects our commitment to building AI devices that empower people to realise their fullest potential.”
The Magic V6 measures 8.75mm folded and 4.0mm unfolded in the white version. It weighs about 219g, which Honor says makes it feel closer to a traditional smartphone.
The phone uses an Honor Super Steel Hinge with 2800MPa tensile strength. That should reassure buyers who enjoy folding a £1,499.99, about €1,753, gadget several times a day.
The inner display uses UTG flexible glass for what Honor calls a minimal crease experience. The outer display has Honor Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield technology, a name so polished it may need its own screen protector.
The device comes with IP68 and IP69 certification, offering resistance to water, dust and high-pressure sprays.
There is a 6.52in outer display and a 7.95in inner display, with adaptive 1-120Hz refresh rates. Honor has added high brightness, low reflectivity and eye-comfort tech including 4320Hz PWM dimming.
Power comes from a 6,660mAh Honor silicon-carbon battery, which the company claims is the largest in a foldable smartphone. This is the bit that sounds genuinely useful, provided it behaves as well outside the launch deck as it does inside one.
The Magic V6 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile platform. Honor says this delivers flagship gaming, multitasking and productivity performance.
The phone supports 80W wired and 66W wireless Honor SuperCharge, plus wireless reverse charging. In normal language, it charges quickly and can top up other devices, assuming you trust your expensive foldable to moonlight as a power bank.
The Honor AI Falcon Camera System combines a 50MP main camera, 64MP periscope telephoto camera and 50MP ultra-wide camera. AI-powered imaging features are included, because taking a photo now apparently requires a tiny robot whispering encouragement at the sensor.
MagicOS 10 brings Honor AI Agents and productivity tools including Fast Flex and Multi-Flex for multitasking. The names sound like gym classes for consultants, but the idea is to make better use of the bigger folding screen.
The Magic V6 is available in red, gold, white and black in the UK. It costs £1,499.99, about €1,753, at purchase, against an RRP of £1,999.99, about €2,338.
Selected UK channels including Argos, Amazon, Very and Currys will include a £500, about €584, discount and a gift bundle valued at £549.97, about €643.
