Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan has confirmed that Intel and NVIDIA are continuing to work together on future products, suggesting that the collaboration announced last year is moving closer to market, which means that we might see Nvidia RTX graphics with Intel SoC pretty soon.
The update came during an event at Carnegie Mellon University, where Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang received an honorary doctorate in science and technology. In a post on Twitter, spotted by Techpowerup.com, Tan stated that Intel and Nvidia are developing “exciting new products,” reinforcing earlier reports of deeper integration between the two companies.

One of the expected outcomes of the partnership is an Intel SoC featuring Nvidia Geforce RTX graphics, reportedly tied to Intel’s upcoming “Serpent Lake” platform. The approach could be similar to Intel’s earlier Kaby Lake G project, which paired Intel CPUs with AMD graphics in a single package.
The same partnership could also extend into the data center market, where Intel could produce customized Xeon processors tailored for NVIDIA AI systems and hyperscale deployments. Intel’s upcoming “Clearwater Forest” and “Diamond Rapids” Xeon platforms could bring broader support for Nvidia’s technologies like the NVLink, leading to a match made in heaven with Intel’s CPUs and Nvidia accelerators.
Of course, both companies are keeping a tight lid on details about such future products, but even a public confirmation that the partnership is very much alive and ongoing suggests we could see broader cooperation between these two companies across more than one hardware segment.
