Kioxia showcases 245.76TB LC9 Enterprise SSDs based on 8th Generation BiCS 3D flash memory at CES 2026

In addition to the BG7 Series Client SSDs, Kioxia also brought its new 245.76TB LC9 Enterprise SSDs to the CES 2026 show in Las Vegas.

Seen earlier at the FMS 2025 show, the LC9 245.76TB Enterprise SSD is based on BiCS Flash Generation 8 QLC 3D flash memory and features a 32-die stack of 2 terabit (Tb) 3D flash memory with the same CBA technology. This allowed Kioxia to come up with the industry-first 8 TB capacity in a ssmall 154 BGA package.

The Kioxia LC9 SSD comes win a 2.5-inch as well as Enterprise and Datacenter Standard Form Factor (EDSFF) E3.L form factors, and what you can see above is Kioxia’s own Alex Mei, Vice President of Corporate Marketing, holding almost 1PB in his hand.

Kioxia says that the LC9 245.76TB SSD is already sampling to enterprise customers.
