Logitech G has expanded its G3 gaming lineup with two new PC gaming peripherals, the G305 X SUPERLIGHT wireless mouse and the G316 X 98 mechanical keyboard, promising to bring higher-end features at more affordable pricing. The new products join the previously released G325 wireless headset, completing Logitech’s more affordable G3 ecosystem.
The G305 X SUPERLIGHT updates the well-known G305 design with a lighter 59-gram body and a new HERO 44K sensor capable of up to 44,000 DPI. Logitech also added support for up to 8 kHz polling when paired with the optional PRO LIGHTSPEED receiver. The mouse supports LIGHTSPEED wireless, Bluetooth, and wired connectivity modes, while battery life is rated at more than 130 hours. Logitech says a quick two-minute charge can provide up to 3.5 hours of gameplay.
The company also highlighted repairability improvements, including exposed screws and the use of at least 51 percent recycled plastic.
Alongside the mouse, Logitech introduced the G316 X 98 wired mechanical keyboard. The board uses a compact 98-percent layout and focuses heavily on customization and acoustics, something usually reserved for enthusiast custom keyboards. The keyboard features hot-swappable switches, per-key RGB lighting, a snap-fit gasket structure for a softer typing feel, and a built-in dot-matrix LED display with a control dial for adjusting lighting, media controls, and report rates. Logitech claims a 0.125 ms response time with 8 kHz polling support.
The company is also pushing the keyboard’s new sound profile, trying to bring more boutique keyboard features into the mainstream gaming market without requiring users to build or modify keyboards themselves.
The G305 X SUPERLIGHT launches on June 30 for $79.99, while the G316 X 98 keyboard will sell for $119.99 in black and white color options. You can check out more info over at LogitechG website.
