Microsoft has introduced the latest generation of Surface for Business devices, including updated Surface Pro for Business and Surface Laptop for Business models powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and, according to Microsoft, focused on AI acceleration, enterprise security, and hybrid productivity.
The new Surface lineup is built around Intel’s latest Core Ultra Series 3 platform, with Microsoft claiming up to 35% better graphics performance than Apple’s MacBook Air with M5 and over 90% higher performance compared to Surface Laptop 5 on select configurations. Microsoft is also planning to expand the portfolio later this year with Snapdragon X2-based models aimed at delivering faster local AI inferencing and longer battery life.
The refreshed portfolio includes a new 13-inch Surface Laptop for Business starting at $1,499 with 16 GB or 24 GB memory configurations, alongside larger 13.8-inch and 15-inch Surface Laptop for Business models starting at $1,949.99. Microsoft has also introduced an updated 13-inch Surface Pro for Business 2-in-1 device with optional 5G connectivity, touch and pen support, and integrated on-device AI processing.
Across the lineup, Microsoft is emphasizing AI-ready hardware with support for features such as live transcription, intelligent writing assistance, image generation, and real-time translation. The systems are designed to support both cloud-based and on-device AI workloads, while integration with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and the Surface Management Portal targets enterprise deployment and lifecycle management.
The new devices also introduce several hardware and security upgrades, including Wi-Fi 7, removable Gen 4 SSD storage, haptic touchpads, and an optional integrated privacy screen with anti-glare technology on select Surface Laptop configurations. Microsoft says all Surface for Business devices ship as Secured-core PCs with firmware protection built around Project Mu, Rust-based drivers, and hardware-level security features.
The new Surface Pro for Business and Surface Laptop for Business models are available now in select markets through Microsoft and authorized commercial partners.
