Nvidia releases Geforce 610.82 Hotfix driver for Halo and Path of Exile 2

Nvidia has released a new Geforce Hotfix driver, version 610.82, which should fix issues seen in Halo: Campaign Evolved and Path of Exile 2 games. The hotfix is based on the recently released Geforce 610.74 Game Ready driver and is intended as an optional update for users experiencing these specific problems.

According to Nvidia, the update fixes stability issues seen on GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards while playing Halo: Campaign Evolved. It also resolves intermittent long pauses that could occur during extended gameplay sessions in Path of Exile 2 when running the game in DirectX 12 mode. Aside from these two fixes, the driver does not introduce any additional game optimizations or bug fixes.

GeForce Hotfix Display Driver version 610.82 is based on our latest Game Ready Driver 610.74.

This hotfix addresses the following:

[Halo: Campaign Evolved] Stability issues on GeForce RTX 50 series when using 610.xx drivers. [6259837] [Path of Exile 2] Fixed intermittent long pauses that could occur after extended gameplay sessions in DX12 mode [5090018]

As with previous Hotfix releases, Nvidia says the fixes will be rolled into its next regular Game Ready driver. Until then, users affected by either issue can download the 610.82 Hotfix directly from Nvidia’s support forums instead of waiting for the next official driver release.
