Better than 65nm

Callisto,
a dual core harvested from Deneb core will have a TDP that is better than the previous 65nm K10 dual generation. AMD is talking about an 80W TDP which is some 15W better than Kuma 65nm based Athlon X2 dual-cores, and all this with a 3.1GHz clock which is not bad at all.

Regor based 45nm dual-cores are expected to have a TDP of 65W for the normal SKUs, while with lower clocks energy efficient ones can make it to 45W.

Callisto, Phenom II X2 550 is scheduled to launch in Q3 and it will come in 3.1GHz at its highest speed. It will be open for overclocking as AMD plans it as Black Edition. Regor 45nm dual branded as Athlon X2 2xx will cover the rest of the slower and cheaper market.

The good thing that comes from having such a strong line up is that AMD will certainly drive the prices down.
