System76 has updated its Linux-focused laptop lineup with new Lemur Pro and Adder Pro models powered by Intel’s upcoming Panther Lake processors. The refreshed systems target different segments, with the Lemur Pro focusing on lightweight productivity and battery life, while the Adder Pro aims more at performance users and gamers.
The new Lemur Pro lineup comes in 14-inch and 16-inch versions. The smaller model weighs just under one kilogram at 0.998 kg and uses a 1920×1200 matte display, while the larger 16-inch version gets a sharper 2560×1600 resolution panel and weighs 1.34kg. Both displays use a 16:10 aspect ratio and offer full 100 percent sRGB coverage. Users can configure the systems with Intel’s Core Ultra X7 358H processor featuring 16 cores, Intel Arc B390 integrated graphics, and up to 50 TOPS AI performance, or go for the lower-end Intel Core Ultra 5 325 chip. The laptops include 32GB of LPDDR5X memory running at 7467 MT/s and support up to 4TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD storage. Connectivity includes Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 ports, HDMI, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and microSD support.
System76 says battery life has improved significantly over the previous generation, with the 73Wh battery rated for up to 18 hours of use. System76 continues to focus heavily on Linux support, offering Pop!_OS 24.04 LTS with the COSMIC desktop alongside Ubuntu 24.04 and 26.04 LTS options.
Alongside the Lemur Pro refresh, System76 also introduced a new version of its Adder Pro performance laptop. The new 15.3-inch model is built around Intel’s Core Ultra 7 356H Panther Lake processor and pairs it with dedicated Nvidia graphics, offering either GeForce RTX 5060 or RTX 5070 GPUs with 8GB of GDDR7 memory.
The system uses a 2560×1600 OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and full DCI-P3 color coverage. Memory support goes up to 96GB of DDR5-5600, while storage includes one PCIe Gen 4 x4 M.2 slot with room for a second SSD through an additional expansion slot. Connectivity includes dual USB Type-C ports with DisplayPort support, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and a 5 MP webcam with a privacy shutter. The Adder Pro weighs 1.52 kg and ships with a 230W power adapter for the 60Wh battery system.

The refreshed Lemur Pro lineup starts at $1,999, while System76 says the new Adder Pro will launch in mid-July, with pricing still to be announced.
