It appears that Nvidia's response to AMD's upcoming R9 590, in the form of GTX 1060 with GDDR5X memory, might actually end up slower than some previous GTX 1060 graphics card on the market, due to a lower memory bandwidth.

Nvidia got back to us with the official pricing for the Geforce GTX 1060 with  more details than our earlier article we posted last Friday. The card in the US will cost $249 + tax while EU cards with VAT will range from 279 Euro. The UK price is GBP 239 which is at current exchange identical to Euro pricing. They will launch on July 19th.
