Limited supplies at least until week after Geforce GTX 1070 launch


On Friday, most of Nvidia’s add-in board partners made announcements of their customized Geforce GTX 1080 graphics cards and their sales of the Geforce GTX 1080 Founders Edition, a new name for Nvidia’s new “reference card” with reference clockspeeds, only this time with an upgraded vapor chamber cooling unit.

On Wednesday, the folks at AIDA64 released a complete list of the device hardware IDs that Nvidia will use for its upcoming Geforce 10 Pascal lineup in both mobile and desktop GPUs. The list confirms the existence of GP102, a chip the company has likely reserved for Geforce GTX 1080 Ti, a refreshed Geforce Titan series, and a few new Quadro and Tesla GPUs all expected for release several months from now.
