Apple stuck with Qualcomm

One of the things that did not get noticed in Apple’s release notes for its rebadged iPhone5S is that the modem was not from Intel.

Contrary to our previous reports we got a tip that iPhone SE will continue using Qualcomm modems and not change to Intel.

It appears that the new Apple 9.7-inch iPad Pro is quite different from its 12.9-inch counterpart as it not only comes with 2GB of RAM, same as the new iPhone SE and iPad Air 2, but also has a lower CPU clock.

According to a recent product box leak, one variant of Apple’s upcoming iPhone SE, perhaps the base model, will feature just 16GB of storage. The company is set to launch its entry-level, 4-inch iPhone SE next week in on March 21st at 10am PST, along with the iOS 9.3, a new 9.7-inch iPad, and some new bands for the first-generation Apple Watch.

iPhone lineup would become on par with three-model iPad lineup

According to a recent Chinese media report, Apple may be switching its naming scheme on the Plus-sized iPhone models for its tenth-generation iPhone 7 launch later this fall, to one that is more consistent with new product announcements in the third quarter of 2015.
