Snapdragon X50 hits 4.51 Gbps
Triples the speed from last demo
Snapdragon X24 is a huge step forward getting the connection on your phone up to 2 Gbps, but 5G will be faster. Qualcomm has just announced that an X50 modem can get you to 4.51 Gbps speeds and probably faster by the launch day.

San Marino to get 5G in late 2018
Europe’s first
Telecom Italia is promising that the Republic of San Marino is going to be the first 5G State in Europe. The plan will increase the power of the infrastructure, and the first “small cells” will be installed in the principal streets and piazzas around San Marino's historical centre.
