8CX with X55 millimeter waves
Lenovo and Qualcomm have announced a 5G enabled laptop at Computex 2019 under the codename Project Limitless, and at CES 2020, the company finally shared a bitfewdetails about it. It is arriving in spring 2020.

Qualcomm and Lenovo showcased the world’s first 5G PC at Computex. The PC is based on Qualcomm’s 8cx platform and comes with additional 5G connectivity. Lenovo calls this design "Project Limitless", based on world’s first 7nm platform purpose-built for PCs.

Cristiano Amon, President of Qualcomm, just announced that the Snapdragon 8cx Always-Connected PC platform will get a 5G version. The Snapdragon 8cx SoC is matched with the Snapdragon X55 modem to support SA, NSA, and up to 7Gbps downloads speeds.
