Jon Peddie research counted

AMD made many announcements at the Games Developers Conference and we wanted to follow up the claim that 83 per cent of the total addressable market for dedicated Virtual Reality HMD, Head Mounted Displays figures would be AMD. 

Not that AMD is telling anyone

AMD told the Games Developer Conference press event that it had 83 per cent of a market share in VR. The claim appeared to be legit as it quoted Jon Peddie Research, however we had some severe doubts.

Android 4.4 still king
