Sony has landed another exclusive. This time it is the upcoming Beta for Dead Island 2. The good news for Xbox One and PC owners who want to join in on the Dead Island 2 beta is that the PlayStation 4 only gets the beta as an exclusive for 30 days.
The only way to be assured that you will be able to get into the Beta for Dead Island 2 is to get a copy of the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3/PC version of Escape Dead Island. We hear that there will be other ways to get access to the Dead Island 2 beta, but right now this is the only way we know for sure will get you into the beta.
As for when exactly the beta will arrive for Dead Island 2, we are not sure. Deep Silver while clarifying the fact that the PlayStation 4 players will get a 30 day head start on the beta, didn’t give up so much of a clue on how soon we should expect the beta to start. We do know however that Dead Island 2 is scheduled for release in the spring of 2015, so we suspect that the beta will arrive in the March time frame as the game gets closer to release.
