Asus has announced a new member in its Triton CPU cooler series, the Triton 77. The new Triton 77 features so called "up-way" air-flow design, five copper heat pipes and dynamic fan speed control.

According to the ASUS's press release this new design should provide a 15 percent cooling improvement, and it also should improve VRM (Voltage Regulation Modules) cooling. The new Triton supports all the latest AMD and Intel CPUs, and it features a PWM function for automatic fan speeds. Asus has used specially designed push pins and clips so that installation should be very easy since there is no need for motherboard removal.

The Triton 77 uses a 92mm fan with Vapo bearing, which spins at 2,300 RPMs and creates 18dBA of noise. The entire cooler weighs 505g with 90 x 78 x 125 mm dimensions. As mentioned earlier, it uses five copper heat pipes, has a copper base and aluminum fins.
