Six "V" heatpipes

Cooler Master has announced its latest CPU cooler, the V6. The new V6 features "V" heatpipe design and asymmetrical aluminium fins in its heatsink in order to maximize performance.

As noted, the V6 features double "V" heatpipes, asymmetrical aluminium fins and optional snap-on dual fan setup. The V-shaped heatpipe array isn't something that you see often in cooler desing and according to Cooler Master, this one helps in heat dissipation by providing a clear path under both mid and high air pressure situations.

The asymmetrical aluminum fins feature is designed so it accelerates airflow due to specific airflow behaviour of the attached 120mm PWM fan.

The V6 is cooled by a 120mm PWM fan with red LED lights that spins from 800 to 2200 RPM and produces between 34.02 to 93.74 CFM of airlow. The dimensions of the entire cooler are 131.5x120x165mm and it features a copper base paired up with 55x0.3mm aluminium fins and six 6mm heatipipes.

The new V6 is compatible with Intel Socket LGA 1366/1156/775 as well as the AMD Socket AM3/AM2+/AM2 processors. The new V6 CPU cooler should appear in retail during next few weeks and we expect a price below €50.
