Portable, stylish and up to 320GB

Western Digital
has introduced a new My Passport Essential USB drive with up to 320GB of storage space. The new drives are re-designed to complement WD's new My Book family of external storage solutions.

These are going to be available in a range of size of 160GB, 250GB and 320GB. They also come equipped with WD's Sync software, and 128-bit data encryption for maximum data protection. All this is nicely packed in a light, compact and stylish looking case with a glossy black finish. These little things get all their power from the USB bus and don't need an external power adapter.

Like WD's press release states, you will have almost a third of a terabyte in the palm of your hand. These drives are available immediately and the suggested retail price for the 320GB version is $199.00 USD.
