Cooler Master launches QuickFire Rapid in Europe
Fully mechanical keyboard
Cooler Master or to be precise Cooler Master Balkans, has notified us that the CM Storm QuickFire Rapid mechanical keyboard will hit Europe pretty soon. Although it has already been announced and launched back in the US, this fully mechanical compact keyboard unfortunately wasn't available in Europe.
The main feature of the new CM Storm QuickFire Rapid are Cherry MX switches that should provide an ability to respond to key pressign with almost zero lag. The new QuickFire Rapid is available with Cherry MX Blue (low resistance/click feedback), Black (strong resistance/linear) or Brown (medium resistance/bump) switches depending on the SKU and the region.
Since we are looking at a compact keyboard, it lacks the numpad. The keycaps on the QuickFire Rapid are laser marked with smooth, damage resistant rubber coating and Cooler Master also throws in a set of extra keycaps in case you want to turn your WASD into direction arrows.
Response time is set at 1ms in USB mode and keyboard also features a so called GAME mode that disables the Windows Key. The QuickFire Rapid keyboard also features the N Key Rollover feature that allows pressing of multiple numerous keys at once in PS/2 mode.
Another neat feature is the unpluggable USB cable for easier travel storage and it features cable management grooves, so calbe can be routed according to preference.
The CM Storm QuickFire Rapid will be available in Europe as of this month with a MSRP set at €75,62 without VAT.
