Focusing on cloud computing/gaming

AMD's Fusion Developer Summit (AFDS) that will kick off on June 11th in Bellevue, WA, might be quite interesting according to recent reports from our sources. If judged by the companies like Adobe, Cloudera, Penguin Computing and Gaikai, that have confimed their attendance, we might see something similar to Nvidia GTC that was mostly focused on cloud computing/gaming with Kepler GPU as their main star.

There is quite a big market for cloud computing and it is certainly a good direction so it doesn't come as surprise that next AFDS might be focused on it. Considering that recently AMD has talked a lot about computing and has been working quite closely with some companies like Adobe, Cyberlink, Arcsoft, vReveal and others, it all adds up to what we might see at AFDS, just with a dash of focus on cloud.

Gaikai already stepped behind Nvidia's Geforce GRID as a partner and it will be quite interesting to see what will they have to say at AFDS as clearly we are talking about cloud gaming here.

In any case we are certainly looking forward to AMD's Fusion Developer Summit and it might turn out to be quite interesting.

You can check out the ADFS official site here.
