The 320GB hard drive will retail for $130 and come with Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Splosion Man, and PinBall FX2 with the Sorcerer’s Lair table. This is actually quite a nice value if you don’t happen to have these games. Previously, Microsoft was offering the 320GB hard drive with Lego Star Wars III as a free bonus to buyers. The hard drive that Microsoft will be offering is in the form factor for the new S series consoles and isn’t compatible with the older units. The transfer cable for the newer drives is available.
We know that it will show with retailers in North America in March, but plans for regions beyond March have yet to be announced. We don’t know if Microsoft is planning to offer it outside of North America yet.
