Best known for its graphics cards and motherboards, Zotac made quite a push into the mini-PC market as well with its ZBOX series mini PCs, available in various sizes. Today, Zotac announced two new products that tap into the streaming and storage enclosure market as well, the StreamBox and RAIDbox.

The StreamBox is designed to be easy to use by users of all skill levels and is used to bridge the gap between mobile devices and television sets for easy audio, video and image sharing from any smartphone, tablet or notebook via DLNA protocol. It also supports display mirroring capabilities for Android devices that have support for Miracast. The full specification list includes USB file playback capability, 10/100 ethernet port and 802.11abgn WiFi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) connectivity.

The RAIDbox is a customizable USB 3.0 storage enclosure that can take up to two mSATA SSD modules that can be set to work in RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD and BIG mode. It is USB powered, has fully a tool-less design and supports both Windows, Mac OS X (Mountain Lion) and Ubuntu 12.04.

Unfortunately, Zotac did not shed any details regarding the price or the availability date.
