Auto Enhance and Highlights now available at Google+

Since it has already merged the amount of storage that you can keep on your Google+, Gmail and Google Drive, Google has now announced two new photo-edition tools that will be available at Google+ in case you want to touch up your photos added there. Two new photo-editing tools include Auto Enhance and Higlights.

Auto-enhance will automatically or manually handle tonal dristribution, adjust exposure, reduce noise, remove red-eye, soften skin, add vignette, minimize wrinkles and brings a bunch of auto tools including HDR, panorama, smile, and mix (collage) as well as "motion" feature that makes an animated GIF from a series of photos.

In addition to auto-enhance, Google also introduced Highlights. Thanks to Highlights, Google+ can now sort out pictures by filtering out duplicates and getting rid of those that are blurry, have bad exposure and similar issues as well as automatically identify major landmarks, making it perfect for those large vacation albums.

Both features will be available at Google+ as of today and Google was proud to note that you can upload up to 15GB of "full-sized" photos pointing out that it is currently the only social network that allows full resolution images.
