To be available in 650W, 750W, 850W and 1000W versions, the new EVGA GQ Series of power supplies will be backed by a 5-year warranty and have 80 Plus Gold certification, offering over 92 percent efficiency. Based on a +12V single-rail design, the EVGA GQ series support SLI and Crossfire configurations, providing anywhere from 54A (on a 650W model) to 83.3A on its +12V rail.

Although previously limited to high-end PSU series, the new GQ PSU series from EVGA raises the bar in value PSU market by including a semi-modular design as well as high-end 100% Japanese Capacitors.

The entire series is also equipped with EVGA ECO Intelligent Thermal Control System which does not spin up the 135mm bottom-placed fluid dynamic bearing fan at low to medium loads. The entire GQ PSU series also supports all the usual protections, including over and under power, voltage, current and temperature protections as well as short circuit protection.

The new EVGA GQ PSU series will be available immediately with a price ranging from US $89.99 for the 650W model, up to US $159.99 for the 1000W model.
