According to the product page, the AOC U2879VF packs a 28-inch TN panel with 3840x2160 4K/UHD resolution and the rest of the specifications include a 1ms response time, 300 cd/m2 maximum brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 10-bit (1.07 billion) color support.
What makes it quite interesting, is the fact that it has support for AMD's FreeSync variable refresh technology at up to 60Hz.
The AOC U2879VF comes with a fairly standard stand, which supports tilt and pivot adjustments and has a brushed aluminum-looking base, and features D-Sub, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort inputs.
According to AOC, the suggested retail price for the U2879VF should be €399 (£300) when it hits retail later next month. While this price might not sound too bad, it faces a stiff competition from both Samsung and LG with IPS panels as well as ASUS monitors which cost a bit more.
