Based on a fully-modular design with full DC to DC, LLC resonant circuit and featuring a 100% percent Japanese capacitors, the EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2L PSU series will be available in 750W and 850W, both coming with an 80 PLUS Gold certification offering 92% efficiency at 50 percent load at 220V (90% at 115V).
The EVGA SuperNOVA G2L PSU series is also based on a single +12V rail design, providing up to 70.8A and 62.4A of current, respectively. Both the 750W and 850W models come with 135mm bottom placed double ball-bearing fan with EVGA ECO mode feature which does not spin up the fan when the load is below 20 percent.
EVGA also included a feature which has not been seen on its previously available PSUs, including a built-in white LED illumination on modular translucent plugs.
As noted, the EVGA SuperNova G2L PSU series is backed by EVGA's 10 year warranty and both are already available with a price set at US $149.99 for the 850W model and USUS $129.99 for the 750W model. That's $150 and $130 if you take away the spin.
