Based on an asymmetrical design and measuring 500 mm x 220 mm x 65 mm (LxDxH), the Cherry MX Board 9.0 gaming keyboard has two macro-key areas, with a total of 17 dedicated macro keys, making it suitable for MMORPG gamers. It also comes with a big dial, used to set both brightness and audio levels.

As noted, the Cherry MX Board 9.0 will be based on Cherry RGB MX mechanical switches and available in three types, MX Blue for clicky tactile feel, MX Brown from tactile and MX Red linear switches. All keycaps are laser etched and since these come with MX RGB switches, it is possible to set both the level and the color of each key.

Unfortunately, Cherry did not reveal any details regarding the availability or the price but did say that it will be backed by a two year warranty.
