EKWB launches GTX 1080 Ti water blocks

by on06 April 2017

With support for Founders Edition cards

EK Water Blocks, a liquid cooling manufacturer from Slovenia, has announced that its new liquid cooling GPU water block that is compatible with most, if not all, GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition graphics cards, the EK-FC1080 GTX Ti.

Based on single-slot and full-cover design, the new EK-FC1080 GTX Ti GPU water block cools both the GPU and RAM as well as the VRM part of the graphics card, allowing it to remain stable at full load as well as offer further overclocking potential. The block also uses a central inlet split-flow cooling engine design which should both offer best cooling performance and allow it to be used with reversed water flow and weaker water pump liquid cooling systems.

As it was the case with most recently released GPU water blocks from EK Water Blocks, the base of the new EK-FC1080 GTX Ti is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of either acrylic material or POM Acetal, depending on the version. The block also comes with a plastic cover over the block Terminal which is designed to reveal the graphics card model and comes with a single-slot I/O bracket.

The new EK-FC1080 GTX Ti GPU water block comes in Nickel and Acetal+Nickel version, both priced at €119.95, and should already be available in the EK Webshop and via its Partner Reseller Network. EKWB will also offer matching backplates, coming in €29.95 priced Black and €37.95 priced Nickel versions.

You can check out the full compatibility list in the announcement or by using EKWB's Configurator.
