Based on the full-cover design, the EK-FC1080 GTX Ti Strix water block directly cools the GPU, RAM as well as the VRM part of the graphics card. Since it is also based on a central inlet split-flow cooling engine design, it supports both reversed water flow as well as liquid cooling systems with weaker pumps.
The base of the EK-FC1080 GTX Ti Strix water block is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of an acrylic material or POM Acetal material, depending on the version. The acrylic version also comes with pre-drilled holes for 3mm LED diodes.
The EK-FC1080 GTX Ti Strix water block also comes with a special plastic cover for the block Terminal and will be available with optional matching backplate, coming in Black or Nickel versions.
The EK-FC1080 GTX Ti Strix water block should be already available via EK Webshop and its Partner Reseller Network with a price set at €129.95 for both the Nickel and Acetal+Nickel versions. The backplates are also available at €29.95 for the Black and €37.95 for the Nickel version.
