That's according to the latest prediction from the World Semiconductor Trade Statistics (WSTS) organisation, based on actual results in the second quarter of this year.
Last year, sales grew by 21.6 percent amounting to a cool $412.2 billion – an all time high.
The WSTS forecasts the biggest growth will come from memory, analogue ICs, discretes and optoelectronics.
The table provided by the WSTS shows breakdown by region and by semiconductor sector.
