According to Rescuecom stats, Asus notebooks are still the most reliable gear you can get, while fruit themed MacBooks come in second.

Asus gets 416 points in the survey, while Apple scores 394. Lenovo comes in third with 314, while Toshiba is trailing at fourth place with 218 points. HP gets fifth place with 142 points, but it still has the biggest market share in the U.S.

Much of Asus' impressive score could be attributed to the Eee PC, as it seems to be pretty reliable, mainly because it's relatively simple and there's not much that can go wrong with it.
