Sources are pointing to a job listing on LinkedIn that indicates that Neversoft is looking for an experienced level builder for a new action shooter title. The Activision studio has not announced the development of such a title, but it is possible that this former developer of the old Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero titles appears to be up to something. (No, we don’t think they have been recruited to work on a COD title!)

It has been suggested in the idle chit chat that we hear that a sequel to Gun (which is now becoming known as Gun 2) could be exactly what the studio might be up to. With Red Dead Redemption already selling over five million copies, the idea to revisit the old west again might be an idea whose time has come.

While not officially confirmed by either Neversoft or Activision, our sources suggest a possible announcement at E3; but the whispers that we hear suggest that we will not see a release of this title before the end of the year.
