Benq has announced its latest compact digital camera, the E1000.
The stylish camera is packed into a matte black all-metal body. It has a 10 megapixel sensor, a 3X lens and a huge 3" 230k pixel display. In total it has 24 shooting modes, including manual, as well as shutter and apperture priority modes. It also features face recognition.
Its movie mode is pretty good, 848x480 at 30FPS, and you can zoom in and out while filming. SDHC cards up to 4GB are supported.
The E1000 will be available in August, and China will get it first. The price has not been disclosed yet, but considering it's a Benq it will probably be on the cheap side.
