We found out that MSI's X340 and X320 CULV and
Atom based notebooks come with a
4-cell battery and weigh 1.3kg. Unlike the Macbook Air, which they have absolutely nothing in common with, MSI's X-Slim series notebooks feature a user replaceable battery.
We learned that this battery should provide close to 4 hours
of work time and in case you get this notebook with an 8-cell battery, we you are
talking about 8 hours of battery life. This is quite good for notebook that will
sell from €699 to €899.
We will have a few more details soon, but for start these are
some hot pictures of this notebook with and without the battery, and as you can see,
you can easily change the battery, something you can only dream off with the MacBook
Air.
This should be the size of the 8-cell battery, claims MSI's manager.
