Comes in September
We've seen Asus' Eee Pad Slider tablet a few times since CES in January, and now it has finally found its way on Asus' website with full details and specifications. According to the latest info, the new Slider should hit retail as of September with a US $399 price tag for the 16GB version.

In case you missed it, the SL101 Eee Pad Slider features Nvidia's Tegra 2 dual-core chip, 10.1-inch 1280x800 LED-backlit IPS touchscreen with Gorilla-Glass, 1GB of memory and either 16 or 32GB of internal storage. The one thing that makes it special is the slide out QWETRY keyboard.

The rest of the features include a rear 5MP camera and front 1.2MP one, 802.11bgn WiFi, GPS, G-Sensor, microSD card slot, USB 2.0 port, mini HDMI output and a 25Wh battery that should keep it running for up to 8hrs according to Asus. The device will be running on Android 3.1 and should be updated to 3.2.

The rumoured price is set at around US $400 for the 16GB version and US $550 for the 32GB one, while the device should hit retail/e-tail shelves sometimes in September.
