MSI's Slider S20 pixellized
11.6-incher with Chief River ULV and Windows 8
MSI has shed some light on its mystery slider tablet and it appears that "ultrabook" rumours were spot on. The Slider S20, as MSI decided to call it, features a 11.6-inch multi-touch screen and is based on Intel's Chief River platform.
We are yet to see the Slider S20 in action, but the rendering and MSI's press release reveal that, in addition to still unknown type of 11.6-inch 10-point multi-touch screen, it will feature a Chief River ULV CPU and have bunch of I/O ports including USB 3.0 and HDMI. It will, of course, feature WiFi as well as Bluetooth 4.0. The 11.6-inch notebooks usually end up with a decent sized keyboard, so we guess that MSI was spot on with the size of the device.
The Slider S20 will be running Windows 8 OS and we'll certainly keep an eye on it. Hopefully, we will see a hands-on experience or two pretty soon.
