Acer expands sales of its C7 Chromebook

by on03 December 2012

Newegg, TigerDirect and Staples to sell it

Acer has decided to extend the line of distributors for its US $199 C7 Chromebook to three new major e-tailers in the USA, Newegg, Tigerdirect and Staples.

Previously available at Google Play, BestBuy.com and Best Buy stores, Acer's C7 Chromebook will now also be carried by Newegg.com, Tigerdirect.com and Staples.com. Although it has not received any praise for its performance or anything else for that matter, it still retails/e-tails with an impressive US $199 price tag.

In case you missed it, The C7 Chromebook features Intel's Celeron 847 CPU, 320GB of HDD space and a 11.6-inch 1366x768 resolution screen. It runs on Chrome OS and even comes with 100GB of two-year free storage on Google Drive.

Despite its flaws, like relatively cheap construction, it is still a $199 notebook.
