Google's announcement included the ASUS Chromebook Flip, the ASUS Chromebook C201, the Hisense Chromebook and the Haier Chromebook 11.
All of the new models are fast, lightweight, and will bring all day battery life as well.
Under the bonnet they all look pretty much the same. They have a Rockchip 3288 SoC with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of flash memory. They will all come equipped with a 720P front-facing camera, along with two USB 2.0 ports, microSD slot, and Bluetooth 4.0.
In a couple of weeks, Amazon will be flogging the Haier Chromebook 11, while Walmart will carry the Hisense Chromebook, both priced at $149. As for the additions from Asus, the C201 starts at $169, while the Chromebook Flip comes in at $249. Both Asus models will be available later this spring on Amazon.
