Begins its push into VR-ready notebooks

During the CES Unveiled event last evening in Las Vegas, Lenovo unveiled a new gaming sub-category of notebooks called Legion, aimed at professional users and gamers alike.

The two new devices on the show floor this year include the 15.6-inch Legion Y520 and Legion Y720, which will be priced at $899 and $1,399 respectively when they launch over the next couple of months. The company has decided to keep its Y-series designation from previous gaming laptops, though it is now including some minimum specs required for casual gaming and midrange VR-ready gaming depending on the model and configuration options.
