Back during CES 2017, the company announced a behemoth of a notebook called the Acer Predator 21 X, complete with a gargantuan 21-inch curved display and a 19.4-pound (8.8-kilogram) weight. Today, the product has been released on Acer’s gaming website under the banner, “Beyond Horizons”, touting hardware features such as 2000R curvature, in-game eye tracking technology, and a flip-over precision touchpad that easily converts into a tactile numpad.

Acer offers to send engineers to customize each notebook
While the Predator 21 X has already received strong pre-orders in Taiwan, there has not been any sign of retail availability yet in the US. As reported back during CES, the notebook will cost a small fortune for most as it is locally priced at $NT 299,999, or approximately $8,999 USD before tax. Acer says it will provide users free customization service for the notebook and will even send out product engineers to help customers configure the product. We can expect to hear more details on regional availability in the coming weeks.
