The E3 Krait Gaming V5 motherboard is a bit more consumer-oriented motherboard and comes with MSI's recognizable Krait black and white color scheme. It also features two M.2 slots, one 32Gbps PCIe and other standard M.2 slots for optional WiFi/Bluetooth module, as well as USB 3.1 Type-C port. It also comes with a couple of MSI exclusive features like the DDR4 Boost and the Audio Boost integrated audio.

The E3M Workstation V5 is more oriented at small datacenter or workstation systems as it is based on a micro-ATX form-factor and comes with a slightly advanced PCB design. It also has some workstation oriented features like SATA RAID and Intel Smart Response, Rapid Start & Smart Connect technologies as well as a few MSI exclusive feautres like the DDR4 Boost, EZ DEBUG LED and Shortcut Manager. It also features a COM port, something that is apparently quite important in that part of the market. 

According to MSI, the E3M Workstation V5 motherboard is also designed and optimized for Nvidia Quadro and AMD FirePro multi-GPU graphics cards configurations and features VGA Armor and optimal PCI-Express slot placement.

Unfortunately, MSI did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date for these new C232 Express chipset based motherboards.
