Halo: Reach to get 360 Limited Edition

by on23 July 2010

Expected to carry a $399 price tag
Our sources have been whispering to us that the silver wireless Halo: Reach controller isn’t going to be the only thing that Microsoft has up its sleeve for the Halo: Reach launch. Microsoft will be releasing a very special Halo: Reach Limited Edition Xbox 360 console bundle, as well.

Much like the Limited Edition Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 console that Microsoft released last year to celebrate the launch of CODMW2, Microsoft will be going all out with the Limited Edition Halo: Reach console, as well.

The console will feature a silver and black motif similar to the pictures that we have seen of the controller. As with the CODMW2 console, it will feature graphics all over the console, not just on the front bezel. Additionally, the Limited Edition will come with two of the special Halo: Reach controllers, a 250GB hard drive and a copy of Halo: Reach.

From what our sources tell us, it is expected that Microsoft will announce the Limited Edition console during ComicCon at some point this weekend. Microsoft apparently has two Halo-themed panel discussions, so it would seem logical that Microsoft is planning to capitalize and promote Halo: Reach at ComicCon this year; and what a great place to announce these Halo: Reach goodies.
