It has finally been confirmed by publisher Warner Bros that the Rocksteady Batman sequel will arrive before Halloween this year, which is actually ahead of what most had thought.
Arkham City will arrive at retailers on October 18th in North America and on October 21st in Europe. Releases in other regions will follow. As we have told you about previously, Warner Bros will be the publisher this time around, rather than Square Enix/Eidos, as Warner Bros has acquired the majority interest in London-based developer Rocksteady.
With the Arkham Asylum doing so well in both reviews and sales, the bar is set pretty high for the sequel. So far from what we have seen, Arkham City seem to be shaping up quite well and looks to be a big release for publisher Warner Bros. Arkham City will be one of the biggest releases from the publisher this year, and the publisher is hoping to be able to repeat the success of the first release this time around.
