No Tiger for the Wii
Spotlight on Xbox 360 with Kinect
While we have known for a long time now that the Wii just isn’t what it used to be when it comes to new titles. If you want more evidence of this fact, Electronic Arts has confirmed that there will be no version of Tiger Woods Golf for the Wii this year.
The news is rather interesting in that the Wii was the lead platform for Tiger Woods Golf, with its motion control making it unique. This year instead, EA has decided that the Kinect- equipped Xbox 360 will be the platform of choice for those wanting to play Tiger Golf. (There will also be a PlayStation 3 version of Tiger Golf this year.)
As for a Wii U version of Tiger Woods Golf, that is actually hard to tell at this point. Sources tell us that EA remains undecided about a version for this year, but it has not ruled it out. Of course, we do expect the Tiger to make it to the Wii U, but it is just a question of when.
