Microsoft has rolled out a new update to the Xbox 360. While the company has confirmed that the update is being pushed out to users, they claim that there are no noticeable changes and that the update contains just behind-the-scenes stuff to provide the best Xbox Live experience possible.

The update takes the system software to version 2.0.14719.0, but at least for the time being it is a mystery as to what this housekeeping update from Microsoft actually does. At first it was assumed that this update would deliver some of the dashboard tweaks that have been rumored to smooth out some additional rough areas.

For now at least, the update will remain a mystery.
